I agree with the other reviewers. I am a long time LEGO fan and somewhat serious collector. I have been buying LEGO Advent calendars for my kids since 2005. Every year they seem to get a little stranger and more expensive. The advent calendar really is a $20 set as another reviewer suggested.My main gripes come from two different areas. 1) They spoil the surprise by showing every model on the outside of the box. Good for parents, I suppose, but horrible for kids. 2) The theme for the past 2 years has been very strange. Last year it was a cops and robbers theme… for Christmas! Three of the days didn’t even contain a complete model, they just had sections of a jail house. It was pretty lame. This year they focus on fire fighters. Why? What do fire fighters have to do with Christmas?I love the idea of opening a tiny LEGO set every day, but I can’t stand the theme and I can’t stomach the price.

We have had the Take-A-Part Airplane (and Take-A-Part Crane Truck) for over 4 years. They are both very durable and fun for kids of many ages. My oldest son got them when he was 3 years old. He loved to take them apart and put them together (with help) and he played with them alot once they were together. At 7, he can put them together himself and he still plays with them on occasion.My younger son started playing with them when he was two. He does the same thing…loves to take them apart and put them back together with help. He also plays with them alot once they are together, even to the point of throwing the plane through the air, so it could fly. After his first attempt, we didn’t let him do that, but it didn’t hurt the toy at all. It is very strong and durable.I highly recommend these toys because they are very durable and extremely entertaining. In addition, each of them come in their own durable plastic boxes which contain all the parts when they are not being played with. After 4 years and an across country move, we did lose two small parts. I called the manufacturer and they sent me the two parts free of charge. You can’t ask for better service.

This Elmo is so cute. It laughs and says little things like “That’s hilarious!” “Elmo needs a break” “laugh with Elmo!”. It moves its hands and legs and will throw himself backwards (and back up). He’s definitely not a snuggle type toy, but that’s okay. My 12 month old loves him and it’s the perfect size for her.

I just got 2 of these for my 4 year old and letter-excited 2 and 1/2 year old. Since the boxes have been opened, they have both been enamored for over an hour. The letter instruction is accurate and straightforward. The eraser is easy to use and the stylus is at least more accurate than the one at Target where I bought these. My 2 year old loves to write letters, so I know it would be a hit for him. But my 4 year old fights writing and drawing, so it's super exciting to see him get all excited about it AND actually write decent looking letters and lines. Get it! You'll be glad you did! Perfect back to school, starting school toy/tool for your youngster!

I bought this for my girlfriend since she loves watching boo on youtube. She absolutely loves it, but I do have to point out that there are slight differences than what the image shows.The actual product is design so it would stand upright all the time and does not sit. Also, the mouth is rounder instead of stretched out as if it were smiling. I didn't notice though until I came back to write a review. Great product though, couldn't be happier.

This game is great! The colored discs are durable(but best used with socks as they stick to bare feet). I love that I can plug my mp3 player into this, it keeps the game from being too limited. This game also has three levels of play, making it perfect for the whole family! My 5 and 8 year old use the first 2 settings, depending on the song, and my friends and I have a blast using level 3. Even my 2 year old has fun “playing” this with her sisters. It’s a great way to get your kids up and moving, any child that likes music and dancing will love Twister Dance!

I actually ordered this for my 7 year old son, who loves to help me cook. He paced the porch all day when the tracking number showed it out for delivery, and his reaction to the UPS truck did not disappoint. All this to say, he had very high expectations for how fun this would be.This updated model sports the advantage of no longer using an incandescent bulb for heat, as these are increasingly difficult to come by. Other than that, this is your average Easy Bake oven. I didn’t notice any difference between this model and models from my own childhood.We immediately plugged it in and started mixing up one of the supplied mixes. After waiting 20 minutes for the oven to preheat, and 20 more for his cookies to bake, he was excited with his little pan of tiny cookies. One packet of mix yielded around a dozen nickle-sized chocolate chip cookies. Clean-up was minimal, although it would have been nice if the pans were dishwasher safe. There’s even a little storage drawer in the bottom to hold the pans and a couple of mix packets. The only thing I’m having trouble storing well is the paddle. I wish it snapped onto the oven somehow to keep everything together.We’ve since made the included cupcake mix, which proved just as exciting for him. The replacement mixes can get a bit pricey, but a quick search for Easy Bake recipes will yield you plenty of alternatives.
